 Strategy Retreat

The program starts with a powerful and fun three day Strategy Retreat. This program is personally lead by Jim & Suzanne Du Molin, plus you get the expert advice of the Du Molins’ hand-picked guest speakers. This program unabashedly focuses on one thing ... money: how to make it, and how to keep it.

You learn what it will take financially to achieve your personal financial goals and the lifestyle you deserve. You’ll leave with your own customized personal and practice financial action plans detailing a step-by-step program to realize personal security and practice success. 

The MasterPlan Implementation Program - Making It Work

Let’s be honest. We have all come home from attending great courses, only to end up with a pile of materials sitting on a shelf until we find time to implement (i.e. never). That’s why, in designing the MasterPlan Alliance, Jim and Suzanne took a giant leap forward, beyond anything you’ve ever experienced, in either consulting or course work.

 Personalized Mentoring From The Very Best 

We have all heard about the importance of choosing a mentor. Someone to help guide us through the tough times in life, answer our questions, listen to our problems. How often have we been able to find someone who has the experience, the training, and the understanding of what it takes to be successful in dentistry today? 

Now, as part of the Alliance, you can have access to such a person. Men and women who have mastered the essentials necessary to give you the guidance and support you need to achieve your goals. Each of these special people has worked closely with Jim and Suzanne over the years.  

As an Alliance member, you will work each month with your own personal mentor. Using special tools, you will review together your success in implementing your three key Action Plans. Think of your action plans as detailed road maps to achieving your goals.

1. Business Action Plan As part of your Strategy Retreat, you will develop a personalized action plan to dig out, and cash in on, the gold bricks in your practice. Your mentor will help guide you through each of these strategies.  

2. New Patient Action Plan You and your mentor will design a customized marketing plan to meet your practice’s need for new patients. This plan will be based upon your style of dentistry, your patient demographics, and the goals for income that you set during your Strategy Retreat.

3. Staff Management Action Plan Staff management and motivation is going to be essential to achieving your personal and practice goals. Your staff plan will provide you with a step-by-step program for developing, managing, and maintaining the greatest team of dedicated, quality people you could ever imagine.

Each month, you will meet with your mentor by phone to review your progress. He or she will help you overcome barriers and act as a sounding board for the problems you face in growing a successful practice.

Special Tools To Make Your Action Plans Successful

There are so many special tools included in Phase Two of the MasterPlan Alliance Program that it’s almost impossible to list them all.

Business & Marketing Plan Tools: 

Profit Management Software That’s right, you will receive software that automatically tracks the key business aspects of your practice - including increased profitability. This software works side-by-side with your regular dental management system. It takes your staff less than five minutes a day to use.

Each month, this software generates a report which you mail or fax to the Alliance’s central office. Our staff then generate an easy-to-understand Practice Progress Report - a detailed graphic analysis of the 7 key success factors in your practice.

Jim Du Molin personally scrutinizes your Practice Progress Report, noting areas of strengths and concern, before sending it to both you and your mentor. Jim then reviews the report with your mentor, as well as your progress on your marketing and staff action plans.

 This data feedback loop is one of the essential elements in the reinforcement cycle that maintains your continued success towards your practice production, collection, new patient, and marketing goals.

 Don’t worry if your practice does’t have an IBM-compatible computer. We have a paper version that works just fine. 

MasterPlan Alliance Group Meetings

The MasterPlan Alliance is based on the concept that many minds working together in harmony, focused on a common goal, will have better success in achieving that goal than one mind working alone. Common sense tells you this is true. 

And, that’s why we based the Alliance support program on the MasterPlan concept. You’ll meet with Jim & Suzanne Du Molin, your mentor, and your fellow Alliance members every three months to review your successes and use the power of the MasterPlan group to solve problems and overcome barriers.  

Each of these MasterPlan meetings will be held in the evening, so as not to interrupt your daily production. Using advanced telephone technology, you will be able to call into a central teleconferencing center that will link you up with all of your fellow MasterPlan members.  

Alliance Communications Network
The Alliance is a network of doctors who have come together to share what works best and support each other in achieving their individual goals. In addition to your monthly management report and mentoring session, you will receive at least two more management updates on those ideas that are getting the best results.  

You can then review these ideas with your mentor, or in many cases, talk directly to the doctor who developed the original concept. This fresh flow of ideas keeps you and your practice on the cutting edge of the dental profession. 

Alliance Strategy & Staff Training Tapes
Each month, you’ll receive an audio tape and hard-copy notes detailing advanced personal and practice financial strategies directly from Jim & Suzanne Du Molin. Many of these tapes are designed as training tools that you can use directly with your staff.

 You can play these tapes again and again until every subtlety of the message is embedded in your mind. And, if you still have questions, you can discuss the details with your mentor.

Staff Management Tools:

Dental Staff Policy Manual
This is an easily-customized policy manual designed to lay out the "rules of the game" for your staff. This is an invaluable tool in resolving the many questions staff have regarding day-to-day policy.

Even more important, this manual is designed to proactively protect you from the many legal pitfalls we face with our employees. The manual comes in both hard copy and on computer disk so you can easily edit it to meet your needs. 

Dental Staff Management System This complete system details how to hire quality staff, do comprehensive performance reviews, solve disciplinary problems, and legally terminate staff.

WIN-WIN Team Bonus System To help you motivate your staff to implement your strategies and goals, the Alliance provides you with the comprehensive WIN-WIN staff motivation and bonus program. This program motivates staff with daily, weekly, and monthly bonuses that cost you nothing ... all increases in pay come from increases in practice production and collections, not from your pocket. It really works, as many of our members can tell you. 

You’ll receive either the computerized or paper format of the complete WIN-WIN Team Bonus system. This includes the same Profit Management Software tool that you use to control expenses and report data back to the Alliance office each month. Your mentor will help you determine whether the WIN-WIN program is right for your situation. Even if we decide not to use this incentive program with your staff, the Profit Management component is a valuable tool to help you control expenses and manage overhead.

Jim & Suzanne Du Molin learned many years ago that you can’t know it all. That’s why they focused on the financial side of the equation. On occasion, some practices need a higher level of expertise in a special area. That’s why they created the MasterPlan Advisory Board.

Advisory Board Members are the top national consultants in their fields of expertise. They have volunteered their time to speak at the Strategy Retreat and annual MasterPlan Alliance meetings. They are also available to help when your needs go beyond your mentor’s level of experience.
